I was in our bathroom getting ready and Drew walked in with Mark's hat. He had knocked it off of the wall and then put it on backwards and walked around the house with it. So sweet!

Our nephew's Foster and Carson put on a concert for us last Saturday night.
Our little Rock Stars.

Drew's cousin Ella had a lot of fun at the park with us.

Drew had so much fun at the park. Grandpa and him went down the slide over and over.

Another new toy from Aunt Jamie, Uncle Matt and Ella. They knew what they were doing with this one, Drew loves it. Unfortunately he has figured out how to push the chair against things to stand on it so he can reach higher. I haven't been able to snap a picture of this yet, because I have been either scared that he was going to fall or mad that he was getting into something.

It is a good thing that Mom likes to shop online. The boxes have offered hours of entertainment for Drew.

Drew has a new favorite stuffed animal. He pulled Snoopy out of his wagon on Tuesday and hasn't wanted to put it down. If you squeeze the stomach it plays the ABC's, he gets a little frustrated because he hasn't figured out how to make it continue to play. Thanks Aunt Kathy!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Des Moines has Beggar's Night and the trick or treat the day before. Drew didn't mind his costume this time at all. He was a pretty cute lion.

We went trick or treating with the neighbors, Drake (Dumbo) and Colton (Bulldog/Marine). Drew had a lot of fun with his friends.

Halloween with the Thompson's

We had a very busy weekend last week. It started on Friday with a playdate with Ashley, Aidan, Sandy and Grace. We tortured the kids with lots of pictures in their halloween outfits and costumes. Then on Saturday the adults went to a costume party. We had so much fun!! Mark even won 1st place for best male costume. We finished the weekend off by going to the pumpkin patch with the neighbors. Drew loved it! I'm sharing pictures of Drew's favorite parts of the day.
He went from pumpkin to pumpkin trying to pick them up.
This was Drew's favorite. He actually trying to swim. He through a fit when we took him out, but he wouldn't quit trying to eat the corn.

Drew couldn't get enough of putting his hand through the fence and waiting for an animal to pass by.

Mark had a dance off with the other 2 Elvis's. Of course he won!

The girls were loving their costumes, but Drew wasn't into it. Such a sad lion.

Drew and his girls Grace and Aidan.

What a ladies man.
Drew thinks he can still fit in Aidan's chair.

Just helping Daddy blow the leaves around.

Our 1st Blog

Drew got a wagon for his birthday, he LOVES it! He also loves to take his friends on a ride with him.

Just pushing Aidan in the wagon.

I am all boy...love to throw a ball around with Dad.

This is new for me, so I am still figuring out how to do this! I am so excited to be able to share all of the great memories that we have been making here in Des Moines. Just to get everyone up to speed Drew turned 1 in September. He had 3 birthday celebrations, one with each family and one in Des Moines with his friends Grace and Aidan. He didn't get into the cake thing, hated the frosting. I think that I was more dissapointed because I didn't get that messy cake picture that I wanted. The way that most people will explain Drew is that he is "busy." He is on the go at all times unless we are feeding him and he could eat all day long. His favorite word is of course DaDa, but he will throw a MaMa in there also. When he is with Grandpa Thompson he likes to shake his finger and say no,no,no. I'm in trouble!!! He is a healthy happy little boy and we are so blessed to have him in our lives. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures. The pictures are from Drew's 3rd party.
