Catching up...

Wow it has been 2 months since I have updated the blog. Time is really going too fast.

What is new with us...

Reid is almost 10 months old, is crawling (loves to chase Drew around), waves bye bye till his arm almost falls off, some days only wants to feed himself and others loves his baby food, still very laid back and loves to cuddle! Drew is getting more and more animated everyday. He is always telling stories (very detailed) and doesn't forget a thing. Likes to sing songs and LOVES his brother!
Drew was all set for our trip to Peoria. Neck pillow, iPod with Dora cartoon and goldfish, what more could you want. We stopped at a rest stop soon after we got into IL. I was changing Reid's diaper and he was crying. Drew told a woman he was crying because he didn't like IL. I think they had a pretty good time, regardless of what Drew had to say.

According to Drew, Day 1 of pool on deck was a "beach party." Day 2 of pool of deck was a "pool party." Not sure what made the difference, but we enjoyed spending Memorial Weekend in the sun.
Grandma and Grandpa Thompson joined us for the "beach party."

Reid's 1st swim in the pool. He loved it!

Dora and Diego came to wish Aidan a happy birthday. Drew was one of the only kids that wasn't scared of them. He LOVED them.

We couldn't keep Drew off of Ashley's dirtbike.

Reid @ 9 months Drew tells me all of the time "I love all my friends."

Many mornings, Drew will get in bed with Reid. Reid always seems to be happy to have him. The other morning, Drew was reading him a book.

Mark, Drew and Reid brought me their own bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day.
Drew was making his own arrangement.

Easter Fun

We have had a couple very busy weekends. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Thompson's and the boys had a lot of fun playing with Ella and Chase. Grandma and Grandpa Gall and Uncle Troy, Aunt Diana and Drake all came to visit for Easter. We went to an Easter Egg Hunt, Bass Pro Shop, the boys went fishing (Mark of course forgot to take pictures), flew kites, dyed Easter eggs and that was just on Saturday. After finding Easter baskets and church on Sunday, Aidan and Ashley came over for another Easter Egg hunt and dinner. We were exhausted after all of it.
Checking out our loot.
Helping Dad cut the ham.

Playing with Drew's hat.

Checking out our Easter baskets.

I can't get enough of watching this baby sleep.

Dying Easter eggs with Grandma

Drake and Drew at a Easter Egg Hunt.

Reid loves to play with hair. Ella's was being such a good cousin letting him play with hers.

Drew and Reid's "House" Drew's new thing is to build a house with whatever is around him. Usually it is with my dishes. I can't believe he actually allowed Reid to play in his house.

This could be the scariest Easter Bunny and the boys didn't mind one bit.

We have a picture of Drew and Papa in their IL gear at the same age.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture. These boys are cute!

February Fun

Ty, Drew and Conner shooting some hoops at Chuck E Cheese.
Drew wanted to help make Reid's baby food. Couldn't have done it without him!
Reid is doing a great job sitting up now and he LOVES it!

We celebrated Reid's 1/2 birthday last week. Drew helped decorate the 1/2 cake and then dug into the frosting.

Aidan LOVES helping with Reid. She will say, "I help, I help." It is so sweet.

Reid got his 2 teeth last week. Drew was kind enough to allow him to teeth on his fingers.

Happy Valentine's Day
